Sombre - Les Monts.
AOK 15, KVA C, KV.Gr. Wissant, Wn. 129 Kiel.

In the village Hervelinghen you have to find the "Rue des Monts" to get up to the mountain Les Monts by a long and small road.

From this point you have a nice view over the bay of Wissant and you will understand why the Germans made a Wiederstandsnest . here Walking over the terrain and looking carefully for the different objects you find some nice Vf2a bunkers with art inside. Please be respectful.
There is a R120 bunker left, but the heavy armoured turret is gone so there is only a big open hole, a small look-out is beside the bunker visible. There is also a Luftschutz or tunnel on the location with some "concrete dividers" in the tunnel for protection against shootings. Two Michelmannstand are there too. One is covered under the bushes at the entrance.

Sombre - Mont d'Averloot.
AOK 15, KVA C, KV.Gr. Wissant, Wn. 144 Beuel.

Driving over the D940 from Cap Blanz-Nez to Wissant and just at the end of a S-turn in the road, you have to turn to the left into the direction of Sombre. After 300 meters turn left again and park you car at the parking place on the right.
On the edge of the road you find the SK hospital bunker. We couldn't enter the bunker during our visit. Behind the hospital bunker is a water tank left in the bushes.
